If any of you are writing country music, or "Americana", you should have a look at CMT Canada's message boards. Under Up and Coming Artists, a friend of mine has started a Soundclick radio station featureing Canadian indie artists and songwriters. Some of my songs have been put up, as well as Dan McVeigh's new single, and some very cool alt-country demos by the guy that started it. It was a spin off from my thread about indies banding together. More content would be good for the station, and more exposure would be good for all of us, so as long as it falls under the heading of roots music, and you are willing to be a member of cmt canada's forums and Soundclick, you have a new outlet for your music. Oh, and you have to be Canadian, eh? Let er fly, guys. ------------------ Terry Don't worry too much about life. You'll never get out alive. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/7/terryfernihoughmusic.htm

Terry: You *have* to be Canadian? Can't some of us "rooties" who are largely ignored in the States get a green card, or something? Joe www.soundclick.com/bands/7/joewrabek_music.htm P.S. If it's limited to Canadians, shouldn't it be called something other than "Americana" (even though that is a corruption of an Italian surname)?

Upon careful consideration (actually, I just asked), the Canadian requirement has been dropped. If you would like to participate, you are welcome to. The truth is, it was a misunderstanding. I thought that there would be no interest from anyone outside of Canada to join CMT Canada's message boards. I also thought Luke had suggested making it a Canadian project, but he says that wasn't his intention. So, there you have it. I goofed. Pop over, check it out, and sign on. We'd love to have you. ------------------ Terry Don't worry too much about life. You'll never get out alive. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/7/terryfernihoughmusic.htm

Just wanted to let you all know that the response to this has been very strong. My Soundclick page continues to get many more hits than it ever did previously, so check it out. ------------------ Terry Don't worry too much about life.
