Well, here's the news on our guest speaker for Wednesday, November 19th. I went to the Big Schmooze last week, shopping for a speaker and found one. The room was awash with managers, since the theme was managers and they were to be found on and off the panel. I, of course, managed, pardon the pun, to find one who lives up the street from the Urban Cafe and bingo, we had a speaker. Her bio follows. RENA MALKAH To Describe Rena Malkah, President and CEO of KICK ASS MUSIC GROUP would be more like taking a glimpse of a reality TV show on showbiz moms. But in reality, shes much more. From her humble success in the reality industry as the founder of CYR Mortgages, Rena has managed to build a stable, independent record group based in Toronto, Canada. Renas venture into the music business was not planned. "From a very young age my daughters have been performing in all aspects of the entertainment industry and a few years ago Alithea and Daniella, along with their friend Kim, formed an urban-pop group called UNTAMED, and as their mother, I backed their decision and thing just snowballed from there".
