The stealing part is a concern, but that's on Suno, not on ai itself .

I don't think you could call an Ai production your own, but as a resource, very useful

Nonsense article, and shame on you for misquoting SUNO in your headline. SUNO did not admit to “stealing copyrighted music.” They simply acknowledged that their training data includes essentially all music files of reasonable quality.

The “stealing” hyperbole comes from the record industry.

My reply to your spin is this: Did you learn to write songs in a vacuum? Did you not listen to all kinds of music throughout your life, and are your own songs not inspired by them?

If you never listened to any music at all in your entire life before creating your own, then your argument is valid. But if you learned to write songs by listening to other music, then SUNO is not doing anything fundamentally different from what you are doing.

Thats old news Suno users to not care, cuz their old. This is basically beating a dead horse for 5 years now lol. The new invention coming up will be the devil also to some people.

Well, I understand why musicians and songwriters are against it, because it allows for anybody to make music, the talentless, the tone deaf, can all be songwriters.

So if your not a songwriter, why do you feel the need to be one.

Again these are general feelings on it.

I mean, I cant use Ai to become a basketball player, or a bow and arrow shooter, or dancer...

Basicly the entry barrier to making music is now gone. Nobody should sound like [naughty word removed], if your lyrics suck, the music is still gonna carry it, and make yiu sound competent.

My take is this. The majority of Ai music I've heard, here or anywhere, is very basic and borders on mediocre.

I have not been floored by any song as I have the Beatles, the who, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, these guys still are better, and by a wide margin.

It basically is a welcome mat to mediocrity.

But its a massive upgrade to those with no talent.

The better artist should still make better art.

Excellent point, its the same on forums, would yiu actually listen to the music here, as opposed to hearing it because your asked.

I think theres collateral damage using Suno without getting humans involved . It effects us all with a trickle down effect, If 2 communities are supported Suno and session players . The moral code is not broken .

I cant write love songs either. I'm not good at writing to one person, I do better writing to sub sect people. Usually the forgotten.

I wrote a love song in high school. It mentioned her name, we were not dating, but i know I at least loved her lol.

But yeah ai will never understand emotions. It can say I'm sorry, or you hurt my feelings, but t it doesn't know what it means in reality
