I've yet to try AI, I'm thinking I might. Which site is better and easier to use. There seems to be a number of sites popping up.

Suno seems to have more users, and moore tutorials on YouTube about it.

Plus alot hete use it.

I'm not sure its better, it just may have more known tweaks and tricks.

I have used udio, cause it came before suno, but I have been working with suno now too.

Its really just band in a box on steroids, it won't swallow you up

Everett,
I use both UDIO and Suno and both are good. I've tried a bunch of others too but they all offer less functionality. You're a songwriter. You don't just write lyrics but you also compose your own music. Suno allows you to upload tracks (no matter how good or bad the recordings may sound) and uses your recording as a template. I often make simple vocal only recordings of my chorus or verse ideas on my iPhone and upload them in Suno. Suno is then just my band and studio engineer while I'm in charge of the lyrics and the melodies. With Suno you can also use your voice to create an AI voice that sounds exactly like you. With that, your Suno songs actually sound like you sang the vocals. That's why I personally prefer Suno. But of course, all the AI song generators will write lyrics for you and generate top-notch random melodies. I would try Suno. John is right. Once you try Suno and see what it does with your ideas, it's really hard to go back.

Here's an example. This is my original recording which really didn't sound too hot:
https://soundclick.com/song/15069005

This is what an older version of Suno did with it:
https://soundclick.com/song/15027735

I think it would sound much better with the current Suno V5.5 engine.

Thank you Rob, I liked your version too (mine will be rougher than yours) Did you ask for a female vocal on your song or was that their idea. I'm a bit hesitant about trying this AI thing, I may try with one of my not so great songs, if it doesn't work for me it doesn't matter much. The past 15 or more years I sort of gave up on secular songs and started writing Christian songs, at least I have a market for them, CCLI, but they will not accept AI generated songs, which I agree with, they will accept rough demos, which I supply with little or no cost. Thanks again.

Do these God damn sites every talk anything else than AI robots like its the 2nd coming of Christ ? Apparently not. Long long time ago before Satan showed up with his metal dick . A songwriter walked in a recording studio played guitar and sang and God said this is good thing. Then something really bad happened Suno was invented followed by a felon lying con artist Trump was elected. I'm not sure what I hate first robots or humans in general . They both destroy everything in their path . I hope a comet flys in tomorrow hits this earth and evolution can start all over again on a better mutation better than stupid humans. With God singing the Tony Bennett song I wanna pick up the pieces. Hopefully the first mutation wont turn into a Baptist preacher thats a pedofile.

Yes well that happening now . Obviously. I'm not reading that . Who wrote it the sell out from Suno ? Did he post profit margins at 10 bucks a month ? God damn , this is a cash cow. Well I guess I'll get a trophy wife 30 years younger than me , God damn Rolls Royce need an oil change again , where's that god damn maid , she's late again. Call that plastic surgeon Marie , so I can look like a Chinese carp. Man that coke dealer is always late . Whats this world coming to. Call Taylor Swift for a personal concert on my yacht .

I don't know where it goes from here.

My personal vague guess...
Through things like "neura-link" human beings will be merged with machines by implants.
An implant in a brain will make all of the knowledge that exists available to that particular human at the speed of light.

Truly, bionic super-humans.

If that happens, the doomsday question, in my mind, is what happens to all of the lesser humans?

Hey Everett,
It doesn't matter how rough your demo is.

As for my song, I tried both male and female vocals, and I fell in love with the female version. That's one of the cool things about Suno. You can experiment with different vocal styles and genres and then decide which version you like best. In many cases, when I hear my lyrics set to music, I get new ideas and make changes to the lyrics that I never would have thought of before hearing them with music.

In any case, I wish you lots of fun with it, and I hope you get some results you really like.

All the best,
Robert

ha ha ha probably something like that . Religion will say it's the mark of the devil with implants. The famous 666 guy

In my view, AI for music is DOA. You flood the zone with fake music you eventually make it worthless. If you use it to create a sketch demo to show friends how your idea would sound developed (your melody, words, not AI's, maybe AI produced, like you can do with BIAB) that's not the same thing. Just don't use it for sale.

If you use AI for writing novels, etc., same thing.

All of this is happening, and Suno and Udio are getting sued every which way. Not only that, Suno admitted to stealing copyrighted music, see my thread on this.

AI for functional stuff is fine, but AI for the arts, I've got a problem with it. Besides, copyright law is such that non human creativity is not protected by copyright.
