Just added #9 titled "My Mother's Ashes Dirge". For some reason to hear it you'll have to copy & paste it to your browser. I'm not sure why this link isn't highlighted like the other ones?
I'll be doing one more. !0 is as far as I can go without effecting my mental health.

That’s great John. You made Smelly Cat believable.
Thanks Cal! Yeah, as terrible as Phoebe's songs are, they worked well on Friends. Hilarious! I liked the challenge to make legitimate piano music out of them. Kept me busy for several weeks. Gave me a boost. Good to see you on JPF!
Smelly Cat is awesome...familiar yet different and you really coloured it
Sticky Shoes is a moody 4note walkdown that you took to town...simple and creative
CUMS goes entirely against its title in lively energetic way
That Appassionata sound exactly like its title
THAD is another that immediately and throughout evokes two hearts and emotion...exellent in my books and a tip of the hat Mr Schick
Asian Goats shows you at work JLS.....theme, structure, explorations
Love how you took that triplet into the next sections throughout your time among the tangled bodies..added to the foreboding nature of the music
Ahh...again the pro...Grandma's Waltz is sublime
Had to take Mother's Ashes to my browser myself (link not enabled for me) but it was definitely worth dirging goodbye to her
Had such a nice time in the shower I almost threw my soap across the room.
Thank you for letting me have some fun listening to you work John. Well worth the time to listen through

Wow! Thanks for the complete review, John. I sent a CD of these to Lisa Kudrow's (Phoebe) agent. I don't want to use these without permission. I think Warner owns the copyrights.
Yes, and shame on Beethoven for his variations on "God Save the King" or Mozart's variations on "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". Not to mention hundreds of other variations from songs. Also, anyone making cover songs would fall into the same category of using someone else's work (known as renditions). Ha, ha...
