The Supreme Court Of The United States (SCOTUS) has denied cert. in Thaler v. Perlmutter. That means 'outputs' generated by Artificial Intelligence will continue to be ineligible for Copyright Protection under U. S. Law. This SCOTUS Ruling is considered welcome news for musicians.
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com

The ruling does not address AI tools that assist human creators, but rather focuses on fully autonomous AI-generated creations.

I don't think it matters anyway.
Let's say you use your lyrics, run it through AI, you have a song.
Does it really matter if you can copyright it? Even if you make millions I ns, what is somebody gonna do use the music for something else?
And it also doesn't answer if there's legal concerns for usung and Ai generated track, only that you yourself can't copyright ot

"Do not endeavor to be the smartest kid in a dumb class. Instead, you are better off being the dumbest kid in the smartest class, where you will be challenged and you will learn. If you aren't growing, you are dying." -Brian Austin Whitney
