Used a tango of mine on two episodes of "Star Trek Strange New Worlds". Spock & Lala dance to my tango. I'll have to subscribe to Paramount in order to see it.

Thanks David! Since I haven't seen any of the episodes... Was the tango for Piano, Violin and viola? As far as I know there could have been other tangos.

If you can get Spak to dance, you've done your job.

Congrats, at least we're not all wasting our time.

I checked the air dates on ASCAP. If the air dates are accurate, neither of these episodes are expected to be released until 1-15-2026. Strange...

Congratulations John, glad you are having some success. I've given up on the secular music scene, still writing Gospel music, at least there I get a reasonable reward for my efforts every three months, plus knowing some my songs are being used in churches worldwide.

Maybe in Season 4. Season 4 is scheduled for release midway through 2026. This business takes patience. I'm still waiting for "You're Dating A Narcissist" to be released to the general public. It's been a year in waiting.

Thanks! My publisher placed this Kay-Lynn. You can connect to music supervisors by getting a Pro membership with IMDb: https://www.imdb.com/ They supply producers, supervisors, directors, etc. contact info for all TV & film productions. Of course, not all will reply to your queries. The pro membership is expensive, but I think they have a one week free going on now.

Best, John

Yes, as long as your religion doesn't sway into politics. Tax free churches aren't allowed to preach politics.

isn't all religions kinda politics , So is coke , its all sold in 3rd world countries that languish in poverty . Thats why they're in the business. If you took away the poverty , You could eliminate a lot of things. But thats not going to happen . So the Cartels will flourish. Thats much to serious for a Sunday . How did Wlley Coyote get Acme to sponsor him

Interesting... "Tax-exempt churches are generally not allowed to engage in political campaigning or directly participating in political campaigns. However, recent changes in the IRS's interpretation of the Johnson Amendment allow churches to endorse political candidates without losing their tax-exempt status. This change is part of a broader effort to settle a lawsuit and has raised concerns about the implications of such a policy on religious freedom and the separation of church and state"

Speaking of "Star Trek"! Lol...

Not declaring any "one" particular religion to be Constitutionally valid, and denying "ALL" religions of being civically or politically relevant is two entirely different things.

Remember, the American revolution was ultimately a rebellion against "lawful" European tyranny in the name of God and Jesus Christ.
It's also noteworthy that European nations profited more from slave trading than any other nations in history.

Yes, reading some of the script, it's obviously AI written, JAPOV. Star Trek Stange New Worlds, seems written by real people though.

Yes, he was up there:

"William Shatner, at age 90, became the oldest person to travel to space on October 13, 2021, aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard spacecraft, where he experienced profound reflections on life and Earth".

See this person , She regrets everything for playing it safe . What she fails to realize that taking risks is a nightmare . 103 years old , She regrets every choice she's ever made , Its a no no win , You play it safe , you want the risks , You take the risk you want the safe

I see Star Trek "Strange New Worlds" just released seasons 1 & 2 on DVD. Not sure if my music is on those seasons. I'm thinking season 3 is the one.

I don't mind paying for membership if I know how to use it. How do you use it to pitch your music?

The pro membership of IMDb is for contact info. On almost everyone in the film industry, music industry, etc. I wanted to send an mp3 of "For Love of Phoebe" to Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe). An email for her agent was listed on her IMDb page. So, I emailed the agent last night. They may get back to me this week or not. Just another option for contacting VIPs in the Industry. Like everything else in this crazy racket, no guarantees.

You never know. I have heard people try every random thing and some of the best stories derive from that. It is obvious you know what you are doing. Action = a chance at success. 99% choose inaction.

There's a lot of contact info on IMDb. Pro Membership opens it up. Even direct phone numbers. It's worth a try if you have extra cash to pay for it.

Good to see you here Brian! Best, John
