The muse compelled me to start my day by writing this morning. I have no real idea whatsoever where the inspiration for this song came from. I watched some videos on the Battle of Tours and Joan D'Arc and the 100 Year War, over the weekend, so maybe it morphed out of that. Wherever it's origin, I followed the muse to it's completion, though still a WIP. I like the tune that SUNO provided. https://suno.com/s/WbIE5x7jDCFF63AeGERLYMONYA [VERSE] His mommy told him he was the most special boy in the whole wide world a manly woman on TV told him that he could be the most special boy… or special girl But to be that special boy, or at whim, that special girl, his life must be free, so the little girly-mon, and his good friend Greta, swore pinky oaths to save democracy You see, there is a Hitler, an Ivan the Impaler, a brand new Chairman Mao and the girly-mon must stop them, he has to stop them now. His weapon is his pen and the poems penned by his hand, He will tell you of their greatness, He’s his own greatest fan. For those who might dare doubt him, he’ll squash their doubts in a flash. Any doubter will learn of Andy, from his very distant past. Humble bragging is his passion, his narcissistic art, He’s the kind of creature who savors, smells of his own farts. He claims one world to be his home, a man with vision from all lands But his first amongst all loves is Girly-mon-ya, the nation of his clan. He says he’s not neurotic, not insecure, not out-of-breath It’s just passion for his mission to save us all from the plague of orange death. [CHORUS] So hail to the girly-mon, praise be unto him. And to the land of girly-mon-ya from which comes his mighty pen. So hail to the girly-mon, heap praises on his name. And do not ever be surprised when he does the same. [BRIDGE] He will say to you, if you cannot already see… “Well now, that’s enough of me talking about me, Now, you shall talk about me” [CHORUS] So hail to the girly-mon, praise be unto him. And to the land of girly-mon-ya from which comes his mighty pen. So hail to the girly-mon, heap praises on his name. And do not ever be surprised when he does the same.

"Never apologize for your work. If it's the best you can do, there's nothing to be sorry about and if it's not, you shouldn't be exposing anyone else to it in the first place." –Brian Austin Whitney
