My brand new record FAR COUNTRY is OUT IN THE WILD today! I get to share a birthday with my record, and I couldn’t be more thrilled about it.
I wrote this record while living with questions, searching for more, while my heart was expanding to understand the SPACIOUS love of God AND while I was walking through a deep season of grief. These songs hold joy and sorrow, beauty and ache, despair and hope, feeling lost and finding out there’s no place too far for God’s love to reach.
These songs hold deep thirst and deep drinks of the kind of water that quenches more than you imagined it ever would. I can’t wait for y’all to listen and I hope listening through this record will feel like a refreshing midnight swim under the moonlight in the river of God’s Love.
There’s room for everyone… those who wander, doubt, hide….those who pray, hope, and abide…my prayer is that each song would meet you right where you are and whisper about a love that never lets you go. We’re all just kids trying to make our way back home.
I love you and I hope these songs remind you that you are eternally, dearly, and desperately loved by the One who made you.
Happy Birthday, Far Country!!! I can’t wait to take you for a drive in the car, roll the windows down, and sing/laugh/cry/dance right along with you!!!
