Logic Pro 11 now includes virtual session players and a chord progression master track for MIDI, plus some other goodies compatible with silicon2.
However...
The last time I tried a major upgrade on my older computer, none of my plugins worked!
Like EZ Keys, SOLARIA, KORG KROSS...
Is anyone else here running a silicon2 Mac?

Well... without any help from any of you lol... I took the plunge, and I'm happy to say it went without a hitch! I loaded the session players, chose a generic chord progression, transposed to (A) with just a click, and since I already had my own drum/bass/keys and master presets... this only took 5min!
