Yes- I'm EQ'ing the high end and compressing the signal a bit, so yeah, that'll bring out the noise. But that's what mixing does for any recording. I'm also running noise suppression plug-ins.

The problem is, the guitar was carefully edited to try and hide the noise, and there's is no isolated sample of the noise to be removed. I know this is a weird ask, but if I had a sample of the noise from the guitar mics, then I could get a very good sample of the noise to be removed, and then I could do a pretty good job of taking out ONLY the noise. Can you pass this message to Adam, and have him send me the unedited guitar tracks so I can tame the noise?
