I love this song because this guy said all the wrong things. He said exactly what she needed to hear to leave. It's so realistic.
I wouldn't change a word of it. Women will love this song and the strong images. They'll know that she's leaving him for all the right reasons. He's clueless. They'll be cheering her on. He made no attempt to keep her. Just guilt and blame. Not words of love. All take and no give. A man with no insight. It's a great modern song.

I think you should try to remove as much of the overused phrases as is possible. Find some way to say those things differently. Phrases like, "took me for the fool", "heart wasn�t true", etc. Lots of songs out there using the same title. If you want your song to stand out, try to get a unique title. You are rhyming "away" with "away" in verse 1. I try to avoid similar rhymes in the chorus that were used in verses or the bridge. You have away/stay in the chorus. In the second half of verse 2, you are rhyming decided/go of it, and that doesn't seem to rhyme. I like the concept!

Just a little thing:

"I stood in shock with disbelief"

The "with" is awkward. I'd suggest:

"I stood in shock and disbelief"
