Hi all. I'm new to this site and forum.I chose the recording forum for my first post because its what I love doing along with writing music on guitar. My recording setup would best be described as prosumer. I have a pair of Roland VSR-880s as my recorders. The board is a Soundcraft M series. Mics are: Shure, MXL, Sterling, Avantone, Yamaha, and Samson.
Preamps are from the board, Focusrite, Joe Meek, and Art.
While I have recorded several albums for others my main focus is recording my own music which varies wildly in style. This is a hobby and love for me. I'm not really trying to be a professional at it. I don't see where anyone can make any real money anymore anyway.
So there it is. Hope to hear from a few of you soon.
