Hey there Travis.....first off, absolutely love the title.
The hook has a taste of Waylon Jennings. Great music, great lyrics...the melody is a bit generic, but carries the song well enough.
A very good recording........gotta love it!

It's always fun to drift over to the Vaughn and Arnold Juke Joint to see what's being played today. Wow, this was a great spin... powerful write and fantastic vocal with backing to match. Thanks, Gents... can I trouble you for one of those "Whiskey Sours?" Mmmmm... delicious and dangerous.

usually not one to follow the pack but, I really like the line "she turned our sweet as wine love into a whiskey Sour"....very cool.....enjoyed this fellas...a pedal steel would be nice but the organ wrks....

Really liked the hook, like others have mentioned. I thought overall this was a very strong write and definitely has a lot of potential. The lead guitar work was a great complement to the song. Good stuff, and good luck with it!

Nice one guys. Great capture of a 70's country feel. Janice and I often listen to Waylon and like others mentioned this one definitely has that feel with the mix and the vocal phrasing.

Thanks Dan,I liked the 1970s outlaw songs too, more into Waylon than B J but a great period in country music all the same.B J plays guitar far better than me even with two of his fingers missing!
