This is as rough as it gets, this is actually
the first draft, so any suggestions anybody
has, I'm definately all ears, Thanks !
FIRST VERSE
Well there's a jolly little guy with his toes
in the sand,
Laying on the beach with a dark suntan,
Wearing a red wetsuit, that looks kind of weird,
Running his fingers through his long white
beard,
CHORUS
Cause he's "Surfboard Santa", Yes he's

He only goes surfing one night of the year,
And when he does he's led by a little reindeer,

SECOND VERSE

Hey stump.....not really sure what to say about this....as a song, the structure is odd.....v>ch>vvv>ch...as a song lyric... well o.k. Don't mean to be negative but I don't get anything from this other than maybe my grandkids would find it interesting at christmas....if thats your audience, well cool....trush

Trush,
I threw it in the air and thats how it landed,now the fun begins.I know it's a hard
one to figure, but your right, I'm trying to
come up with a very young adult holiday song
that personifies the kind of weather, warm
climate cities like San Diego experience at
Christmas time. I hope this explanation does
a little in the way of the intended direction
I'm trying to achieve. Thanks!

If this song isn't published and recorded - it's because you are not trying hard enough. This song is superb. As my old friend Sammy Cahn used to say, "I wish I wrote that!" I love your song. It's so darn clever. When you do this song on Ellen DeGeneres - you gotta have a guy in this costume. And this guy can be sold as a cartoon character. Copyright it. I'd buy the doll!
