Hey James, I think this would be fun and interesting for a day or two, but the mellow sound and loops would get very boring after a couple days. I remember getting the Fender Rhodes fever when it first came out. Bought one, got bored with the sound after a couple months. John

John I was wondering if it only had a certain sound or if it could mimic any instrument. Maybe I should go read closer.

Hi James & JLS:
I know this is an old thread and I seldom check the Keyboard Page here at JPF... but wanted to let you know that almost any Arranger Keyboard (several manufacturers = Yamaha, Korg, Roland & more) can emulate many instruments, orchestra types, choirs and include the capability to enhance sonwriting or composing.
I currently use a Yamaha PSR-S910 Arranger and really enjoy the improvements they have made compared to my older PSR-2000 Arranger.
I hope this helps. Feel free to PM me if you need additional information or have questions.
Regards,
Dave Rice
