"So what would be a good baromter for your temp at the end" - DecA ritardando is executed by feel. Can’t formulate that. If you must use a drum program, cut it at the ritard. Or if nothing else slow it down in short increments. John  Yes well those increments are the whole thing. You can only slow down a program by measure. This is one reason why you cant replace a real drummer. But most of us dont have a live drummer in house.
