I agree, by the way, with just about all of the Famous Riffs mentioned. I believe Keith Richards' riff on "Satisfaction" is what won the song an award as "the most memorable rock 'n' roll song of all time."
My candidate that nobody's mentioned is Don Rich's riff on Buck Owens' "They're Gonna Put Me in the Movies."
Joe wasnt the name of that "Act Naturally"?????
