Hi,
My band recently played a cover song for Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" and I have been inspired to write one myself. I noticed they use a constant muted C note on the guitar and the chord changes are very tight throughout the song. I was thinking of using the "I Was Born To Rock" idea and just completely re-write everything. Any ideas on what themes I should include for my lyrics? What other songs should I look at for inspiration?
