Of course I can't COPY & PASTE the specs from that window, no, that would be too easy..... Urgh I hate Windows.
YES a Mac laptop is on the shopping list but it'll be a while, we had a tough year. Bleh.
OK: Intel CORE i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13 GHz
RAM = 4 G, 3.67 G usable
500 G hard drive built-in, 383 G free
64-bit Operating System
I am pulling in sound at the 44100 and 16-bit setting.
It did best on this (also pointing this may be a PC power issue) compared to when I had it on 48000 earlier today/yesterday.
The M-Audio *should* be able to kick in up to 96000 and 24-bit, and Audacity can handle up to 32-bit -- larger files by far -- but it's not doing it.
Checking my power settings now.
