Performing live in the Lower East Side underground scene since 2007, rock trio Dr. Hyde & the Scouts delivers a captivating blend of alternative sounds. The band members, Avi Pavlovich (guitar, vocals), Hagar Ben-Ari (bass), and Yoni Halevy (drums) merge backgrounds in jazz, funk, hip hop, and electronic music to serve up an intoxicating indie potion, which can be best classified as alternative rock, with some unexpected doses of deviation from the genre. For their debut album, “The Strange Case of Dr. Hyde & the Scouts”, the band has teamed up with additional vocalists Lisa Apatini and Jeff Berner, as well as Sean Plunkett on harmonica, to achieve a cultivated sonic fusion that is emotionally magnetic. "If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
