Hi again Letha. Another solution would be to ditch Vista altogether and install XP. You can use the licence and installation disc from your old computer to install it on your new one. Alternatively contact your supplier/manufacturer and ask if you can downgrade to XP. I got my XP pro installation disc from Dell free of charge because I complained that Vista was useless for music production citing that certain music production programs that I use eg Audacity, Cubase and other Steinberg stuff were not Vista compatable and the pre-installed Vista was not fit for purpose. They gave in because they did not want the hassle of me pestering them and causing a "stushie" (Scottish word meaning creating a huge fuss and causing much annoyance)
