Jim,
I sure appreciate you taking time to help. I was hoping you might have some insight, as you are so good at advising on audacity. Adding the silence is a great idea if I am going to continue having to deal with it this way.
I will take a look at the settings and see what I can see. It sure would be nice to just have it work right instead of having to rig it all of the time, that takes away from my recording mood lol.
Hate to say it, but I sure liked xp better, lol. Wish I had had a choice.
