I'm surprised there aren't more drummers on this forum. Surely EVERYBODY knows that drums are THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT INSTRUMENT!
Simon, I am also surprised. The forums here are heavy on songwriting, but could provide a great resource to drummers as well. About drums, as a bass player, I agree with you. My old dear friend, the late Tom "the Hitman" Cerone, used to say, "Nobody ever danced to a lead guitar."
