I use fake percussion sounds tapping the keys on my Casio.

I would like real drum sounds.
Though I don't believe in using borrowed rythmns.

I started out doing new wave, although I always preferred the Talking Heads type new wave where there are real instruments and played. I would love real drum sounds, but I would like to make those rythmns too.

Anyways, you probably already know about Audacity. They have these click tracks.
But if you are interested in sounds from synths too, Casio has the most realistic drum sounds I have tried.

You want the genuine article though from what it sounds like.

There is a member here named substudio that drums that does those kind of samples.
