Hi Brian sorry to disagree but I have watched both the USA and UK shows and they all suck. Most singers including the eventual winners can barely hold a tune. I can take you to many karaoke bars and open mics where even the average singers have oodles more talent than anything I have ever seen on these shows. Whilst the finalists might be slightly better singers than the average UK or USA tone deaf citizen top 1% or even 10% they aint. Not by a long shot. Mediocrity has become so commonplace that we now accept it as actual talent. I am disappointed as I thought you had much better judgement.
