Here's a fun little note - The silliest song I have ever written, "Please Don't Send Me Fruitcake" was cut by the vonTrapp Children a few years ago. They are now singing with many symphonies.

"Please Don't Send Me Fruitcake" was performed last year by the Omaha Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony and at the Cincinnati Pops. I got to hear the Omaha Symphony perform it last year and I gotta admit it was quite a thrill This December, the song will be performed at the Toronto Symphony 12/11-12/2007 (3 performances), the Pacific Symphony in Coata Mesa, CA Dec. 12/13-12/15 - (3 performances) and the Atlanta Symphony (2 performances) 12/22/2007

By the way, the vonTrapp Children are about the sweetest kids you could ever hope to meet - if you're in the Orange County, Atlanta or Toronto areas, they put on a real nice family show, singing lots of classic songs from "The Sound of Music" and such, and one REALLY dumb song by yours truly
