Hi Folks,

I just got back in from the blazing heat of Indiana. Blazing for me is mid 80's with 90% humidity. This weekend is the Indy 500 and it's supposed to be the hootest race in over 50 years there. Likely to be in the 90's with the same brutal humidity. The worst humidity I have felt was in St. Louis where at the time it was 99 degress and about 85% humidity and it was dangerous to even go outside. I had never visited before and had spent 4 hours in an air conditioned car and when I got out I literally thought I was walking into a wall of heat and misery. I can't imagine how people there survive without serious AC. I am sure you get a little more used to it, but I keep the AC on here at the house at 69 and the heat in winter at 68 and if it gets even 72 degrees here in the house I can feel it. So this is my least favorite season of the year when you've gotta plan your activities carefully based on sunburns and heat stroke and dehydration and all the rest. Ack. I don't evny the people who live in the south at all.

We went through a bunch more videos last night and I am feeling much better about the short video category. We still dont' have nearly enough movies and live concerts and are probably on the edge of having enough promotional videos. Sometimes it's hard to decide where to put something because they meet all the categories at once. But we'll figure something out.

I probably won't be out on the road until at least September this year, so perhaps the worst of the heat will have passed. I will likely spend most of 2007 traveling all over the place (including a visit to Europe). We have members all over the place but we rarely get to hear form them. So if you live in Europe and want to suggest places to visit, we're all ears.

So what are you planning to do this summer? Going anywhere interesting? I know Al shared his enjoyment of Australia recently. Anybody else doing any summer traveling?

Brian
