Hi Brian,
We feel like we can commit to a live event on the Tuesday night, 5/31 and a low key cookout at my house on Monday 5/30 (Memorial Day).
You might want to travel straight from your Providence show and come in Sunday night. The Cape is separated from the mainlaind by a canal which only has two bridges and both bridges also feed into a 'rotary". On Memorial Day, Labor Day and 4th of July weekends the traffic can back up for several miles in both directions. (That's what Marty was talking about) A drive that will take you about an hour and a half Saturday night might be 4-5 hours on Sunday morning if it's a sunny beach day.
We're going to look for a venue ASAP, so if the dates change let us know. Also, if the dates change: before Memorial Day is better and a weeknight is necessary. That time of year the bars are busy enough with the tourists on the weekend and only want cover bands.
