I have to say, you guys are anything but "plain" folks! I still pop in from time to time and read some lyrics and as many of you know, I spend most of my time at the Muse these days. I've just found it easier to try to concentrate on one lyric board at a time. It's not that I don't love you all or you have bad breath or anything...LOL

Anyhoo - I just posted this at the Muse and thought I'd share it with everybody here too. If you're interested, just let me know. Sorry for posting it in this forum, but it's the only one I really visit here. If Brian wants to move it or delete it, it's okay by me. I'm easy.

But I finally found an organization to help get smaller quantities to the troops and I shipped off 100 copies of the Wendels CDs to them yesterday. Very soon now, they will be in the hands of our troops serving our country.

Before I go any further, I need to iterate that this is not about whether or not you support the war (or any war)!!!. It's about supporting the human beings who were sent to deal with the horror of it all. They're people. Just like you and me with real feelings and opinions and families. It's a terrifying situation and as fellow homo sapiens, they deserve and need our support.

Anyway - so if you have some CD's you'd like to donate, please send me a private message either through the Muse or to my hotmail account. If you have a LOT of CD's you want to donate, I'll be happy to tell you who to contact to make that happen.

I posted this same message (pretty much anyway) on Garageband.com's message boards a day or so ago and so far I've had committments from at least 5 bands to donate over 400 CD's and one band who wants to donate 1000. I have also received a communication from the business manager of Garageband enquiring as to donate a very sizable number of CD's. This number will probably grow in days to come and I sincerely hope it will.
