Folks, I'm afraid I've been remiss in keeping this list posted on the JPF meetings, but if you haven't been aware, there's a local chapter of Just Plain Folks [jpfolks.org] that's meeting in the Southeast Michigan area once a month. Its membership has sort of defaulted to singer/songwriter types, but it's open to all musicians. We've been presenting some good panel discussions at each meeting and the next should be great! We'll host a panel of three singer/songwriters whose names you might have heard; Jim Bizer, Jan Krist and Dan Hazlett. Everything you need to know is at http://maynardmusic.com/JPF or just email me at acapps@maynardmusic.com We've had new faces at every meeting so far and I really hope to see a few more! your friendly neighborhood folk therapist, Annie Capps

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
