Here's the lineup thus far for our JPF Showcase at Uncommon Ground, Thurs. Oct. 9:
1. Me (emceeing, doing 2 songs)
2. Bob Young
3. Herbie Gaines
4. Jackson Daly Band
5. Van Borden
6. Samantha Twigg-Johnson
7. Michael Plishka
8. Anthony Whitaker
9. Shelley Miller
10.open
Close: Me (1 song)
The sequence isn't chiseled in stone, except that I need the opening slot (for obvious reasons) and Shelley has requested she go on after 9 p.m.(and she and Anthony plan a couple of duets) Right now, everyone gets 3 songs/15 min.. If we must stretch it to 12 performers, everyone gets 2/10 min. (myself included). Have I left out anyone who's asked yet (who is capable of playing acoustically without backline)? Speak now or forever hold your peace--Michael needs the lineup by tomorrow for the U.G. website.
