Yep. Get yaself into a PRO and then get out there pitching. If ya really god, and really famous ya may get a sweetener for the right to do the first recording. Do remember with an uncut song, the owner can say yes or no to who records it. That is where the sweetener if any comes in. I think they are becoming rare these days though. Or low on sugar content.
