Al,
Very good! I tried it out last year. Submitted 3 songs, one instrumental and two "full" songs complete with lyrics and vocals.
They fullfilled all their promises and I received some great feedback from the judges; even won a "finalist" on one of my songs! [Linked Image]

I was impressed with their song critique report which was very thorough and complete, and the judge even took the time to show me how to improve my songs where appropriate. That was more than I got from Unisong. I also won a "finalist" through them, but got NO feedback or ratings at all from them, which was a bit dissapointing!

It would be a nice accomplishment to recieve a 1st place prize, and even a 2nd or 3rd place would still be quit an honor. I'm not sure if this would be the best way to "shop" a song, but still maybe a nice way to network and perhaps get some positive and constructive feedback on your best song writes. I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

Best wishes for success!
Michael

P.S. I'm thinking of sending in 3 songs again this year. Time is running out, so I will have to "hop" on this right away! I just check my entry form and the deadline *is* November 7th this year.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself. -- Johann Sebastian Bach
