I'd agree needs a singer, or at least an effort to sing normally. Sounds too much like hemorrhoids. I don't think you have to sing that way.
I like the guitar sound, and howvthe chorus comes in, your good at catching the listener snoozing.
I think mentioning rich man and poor man in the verses takes away from the chorus.
Don't have to be so general, its more like reporting than a story.
guess you have a style.
