There was a thread titled “a brand new set of keys.” That was an attempt to get a political diatribe going, and derail songwriting for that self-centered purpose. But alas, THERE WERE NO TAKERS. And that attempt fizzled and faded, as well. Hey Marty, That gave me a good laugh! 😄 There really wasn't any political intent behind that one. “A Brand New Set of Keys” was inspired by someone close to me who's going through a divorce. It's simply about rebuilding a life after everything falls apart. Amazing how some people can see politics in such a song, lol. Now, if you'd listened to my political song, "Bring Me Someone – Not That Guy," you might've had a stronger case! 😉 That one would have put a smile on your face.
