Today I’m releasing the music video for a song called Crown of Scars. This one comes from a place in me that most people never see. It came from the years where everything collapsed at once and I had to face the truth about who I was, who I had been, and who I was being called to become. When I wrote this song I wasn’t trying to impress anyone or chase a sound. I was writing from the weight of everything I carried through addiction, loss, isolation, and the moments where it felt like the world was closing in on me. The lyrics came from nights where sleep didn’t exist and the only way to survive the pressure was to turn the pain into words and let the rhythm carry it. Crown of Scars is about the reality that the battles we survive leave marks on us. Those scars don’t disappear, but they become proof that we kept walking when it would have been easier to quit. Every line in this song came from real moments where I had to decide whether I was going to stay on the ground or stand back up again. It represents the process of being broken down and rebuilt, learning how to carry pain without letting it define the end of the story. The crown in this song isn’t about pride or ego. It represents the weight of the lessons earned through fire and the responsibility that comes with surviving things that were meant to destroy you. This music video is my way of showing that journey visually and honestly. It’s not a performance, it’s a testimony of what it looks like to fight through darkness and still keep moving forward. If you’ve ever walked through seasons where everything seemed to fall apart and you still found the strength to rise again, then you’ll understand what this song means. Crown of Scars is for anyone who has been through the fire and came out carrying the proof that they survived it. #crownofscars #propheticrap #testimonythroughmusic #faithandfire #remnantvoice #kingdommusic #underdogstory #spiritualwarfare #riseagain #truthinmusic #healingthroughmusic #battleborn #faithjourney #kingdommindset #resilience #overcome #remnantrising #soulmusic #realstory #purposewalk #propheticvoice #strengththroughpain
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com
