I understand what you’re saying Kay-lynn. On the surface it sounds the same thing. However, the authenticity could be in question just by using Suno’s service. Some publishers are keeping their distance from music affiliated with Suno and other AI apps. When using a singer/ instrumentalist as a work-for-hire, all involved should sign a release form. It will save any problems down the road. With Suno, you won’t have a standard release. For proof of ownership, you would have to reveal using Suno. Complicated, but if you know the song is 100% yours, I wouldn’t mention using an AI app. Maybe I’m making this more complicated than necessary.
