The song is a Hallmark Card or Movie condensed into song form.
It is;

self-congratulating
warm and cuddly,
with a triumphant,
happy ending,
where the virtuous prevail..all of which is fine. I think that your word is "sachrinish."

The problem is that it would be hard to follow for a random tween listener without the detailed explanations that are occurring in this tread.

If something that should be simple takes a lot of explaining, there are almost always problems with it.
