My Life was a big hit for Billy Joel... Sure was. In 1978. Billy Joel was a global superstar by 1977. Star power and persona becomes a focus for the masses at that level of stardom. The Kardashians achieved that level of interest with no talents beyond a BJ and endless addled rattling on and on, about this and that. I don't count on it working for me. I try to put other people's lives in my songs.
