I think you are very wise to be cautious. Japov and Ironknee don't need AI, at all, because they've got lyric, music and really good sound engineering already....so AI must do exactly as they dictate, and they are in a position to dictate. They'll wait.

But you. I think I heard audio of you singing, and thought...that's great singing. So if I were you, I would do a test on the suno "cover song" facility this way:
upload one of your throw-away song, minimal recording, just you singing and maybe a click track only. What I think and expect is, suno will give you your song, with no change in lyric, no change in melody notes, a different singer, but singing exact melody as you have sung....+++ all the fancy back up vocals and strings and fat drums and big bass, etc. Just what you want.
