Fort in the trees Fort in the Forest I go to my Fort Forest
The quiet trees They will hide me When the monster runs hot The trees are cool protection
Danger Danger The monster sleeps When it awakes It won't find me Be still The trees hide me This is a great visual! I remember cutting out the center of large, wild bushes in the wood line as a fort. Eventually I "borrowed" the necessary tools and material from my dad's garage to create a rudimentary ladder to scale a tree, only to learn I have a terrible fear of heights. LOL!!
