No need to encumber your ownership to give me co-write credit Rob. I'm simply a ruthless editor. I appreciate you letting me tinker with it. Thanks! Danke!

Shortening a Song, simplifying a Lyric, is almost always a good idea.

Changing from an anonymous 'lecturer'
telling 'the collective you' about the philosophical idea,
to a 'first-person I'
had an interesting effect.

That makes it less 'philosophical' and more 'Singer Character' relating first-hand experience, a 'storied conversation' between him and his Love-Interest Character. We get to eavesdrop on it, or even 'assume the persona' of the Singer-Character and 'be in' the Song/Story ourselves.

There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com
