It seems to me that the Vatican is all about discipline and guilt... Catholicism baptizes babies, then "shames" people into remaining loyal and contributing to the church. The Bible is actually all about the necessity of forgiveness. Nobody's perfect except God, and God knows that lol... Personally, somehow, knowing that someone out there DOES actually have all the answers appeals to me... even though it's impossible for me to know the mind of God. "You can't always get what you want... You get what you need"
