Hey Japov, I interpeted this song two ways..... pro and anti-gun with convincing arguments on both sides. A brilliant write and yes it is triggering but therte is triggering going on daily in every city and every state and hearys being stopped. write on....right on....righteously. John Wilkes Booth could have written the following. It roughly paraphrases "Sic semper tyrannis!"
""The world in my sights My tongue licking the trigger I'm selling bullets and rights Like gunpowder and sugar......
Democracy, red handed hypocrisy… The irony of tyranny"" Marty, Tyranny is tyranny... no matter the source. But, to deny people the right of self defense? That's tyranny with an objective to absolutely subjugate and control. Unless you can eliminate criminality and the necessity of war, that kind of control is simply not possible. It's the emotional tugging of your fatherly oppressors propagating the idealistic pipe-dreams of naïve adolescence. Tony This is a song site. I went out to the gym and a beer and came back to see these accolades that your song has gotten. #1 It's not that good. Truly not. #2 Anyone who thinks that this is great might think that the unabomber's treatise was a literary masterpiece. On that level, this is perplexing. More importantly... I obviously don't mind enjoying some misbehavior. I don't worry nearly as much as a random person...who thinks what of me. But I do have moral precepts that govern my behavior. And practicalities. I dance around the edges of that at times here as it is...BUT...If this kind of writing that you have displayed here is going to be allowed here, then I gotta go. I can't be around it. I've been lazy about looking into other places to post songs and exchange audio tips anyway. It's an opportunity to dig into that. I may put up a song here down the road, I dunno. Anyways, you and this song caused my withdrawal. If that's a win for you...I'm glad it brings you happiness. Marty

"Stop the process I call 'waiting to live.' This is the worst type of procrastination, because there will always be another 'reason to wait' lurking ahead. Once you are in this rut, it is nearly impossible to get out of it. Instead, adopt a 'Live as you Go' mentality." -Brian Austin Whitney
