Yeah, I think I meant introspective somehow I typed introverted. Similar yet different.
Your voice is not bad, there is a character in there. Try singing the melody in your head first, and then trying to emulate t , if your heads version is the same as your vocal version, then I see your point. But I think your talking out of habit cause you don't believe u can sing.
Ive heard much worse and it works for your songs Thanks Dom. My vox recording method is to sing what feels good. When I play that back, it most often doesn't sound good. Then I get away from it for a week, come back and try to listen as objectively as possible. Rinse and repeat. I'm guessing that I re-recorded some aspect of this vocal between 50 and 100 times over the course of 6 months. Once I get to the best that I can do...clip gain, EQ, reverb, more EQ, this and that, automation. Marty

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
