I don't know Tony. I had to look up leather girder so I could picture it.... I expect this is another biblical reference about a girder in your eye preventing you from complaining about someone else's splinter??? Which I expect is a relief because it then allows you to wear that tutu....you know...the one you call "what, this ole thing?" 
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop
