I enjoyed your song and music. Were you actually thinking of Niemoller, or just your own observations and opinions? I get what you are saying, but wasn't crystal clear on your thoughts. I think a hint of more specificity could be implemented easily--lady liberty in the sand gives a strong signal, but without that, I may ponder a bit more as to where you were going with this. I dig it but think there is room for some small lyric tweaks to "empower" your theme etc.
