On Amazon, reviews can make a or break a business. It's sad in a way. But if your product is not good, negative reviews can steer people away. That's why they show if a purchased was verified, and not just somebody commenting who never bought it. The difference with music, is that it's subjective. No one size fits all and im sure many people think this song is great, they werent all negative comments.
There's a market for just about anything. And in music, many people saying something sucks is enough to make you click it to hear for yourself.
But sometimes the comments go too far, "Oh I know Lady Gaga, she used to live 9 blocks away, and she used to be a prostitute" "Her family disowned her"...that kind of chit doesnt belong anywhere.
And some people cant help but write something crude or unrelated, thats how they get noticed
