Thanks, Everett, glad you liked it! That EP was the result of being invited to speak at a class on media production at the University of New Mexico. In the course of my talk, the prof did a great recording of that live performance. I do think that sometimes a good clean vocal+guitar beats a bad demo with lots of backup. So it was serendipitous, but worked out well. As they say, always say "yes," because you never know where it will lead.
And thanks for the feedback on "If It Ain't Love"! I just threw that in, because I had just rewritten the music for the chorus, but I have gotten more positive feedback on that than the other songs. It's a really old song, and the chorus needed a lift. So never write off the old stuff!
That's me on the guitar. Just one take, live, so I was a bit nervous and afraid to try to do anything fancy. Which I probably couldn't do anyway : )
